Who You'll Work With
Hi, I'm Corinne.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD) with extensive experience supporting trauma survivors and marginalized communities. You'll work directly with me at every step. I run every session and sign every evaluation myself. More about me →

What life in Florida asks of people
Florida draws people for the weather, the water, and a fresh start. Living here year-round brings its own pressures, and they're easier to carry with support.
Storm Season, Every Season
Watching the forecast, boarding up, evacuating, and rebuilding take a toll that lasts long after the water goes down. Repeated storms can leave people anxious every June, or numb and worn out by October.
Rising Costs
Rents, home insurance, and everyday expenses have climbed fast. Money stress tends to show up as worry, irritability, poor sleep, and the sense that you can never quite get ahead.
Caregiving and Later Life
Many Floridians are caring for aging parents, adjusting to retirement, or facing health changes and loss. Some are doing it from far away from the rest of their family.
New Arrivals and Fast Growth
Florida is one of the fastest-growing states in the country. Starting over in a new place can be exciting and lonely at once, and long-time residents feel the changes to their communities too.
My approach goes beneath the surface: not only managing symptoms in the moment, but understanding the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you move through the world. Lasting change comes from understanding yourself more clearly.
What I help with
You don't need to be in crisis. If something feels heavy, stuck, or harder than it should be, therapy is a good place to start.
Trauma & PTSD
Including EMDR for processing past experiences, including storms and disasters.
Anxiety & Overwhelm
Panic, chronic stress, worry, and burnout.
Depression & Burnout
Numbness, low motivation, exhaustion, loss of joy.
Life Transitions
Relocation, retirement, divorce, career change, identity shifts.
Relationship & Family Stress
Boundaries, conflict, caregiving, and patterns.
Self-Esteem & Shame
Perfectionism, self-worth, direction, and purpose.
Religious Transitions
Faith deconstruction, rebuilding meaning and identity.
Grief & Loss
Processing loss at any stage of life.
Teen Therapy
School stress, anxiety, identity, and family tension, for ages 14 and up.
Fees and insurance in Florida
My Florida license is new, and I'm working on getting in network with insurance plans here. Until then, sessions are self-pay at $225. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds, and I can provide a superbill on request so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your plan.
Not sure what your plan covers? Ask during your free consultation call, or see Rates & Insurance.
Private practice vs. large platforms
Working With Me Directly
You work with one licensed psychologist who knows your full history, goals, and patterns. Treatment is shaped around you, not a generic template. The relationship deepens over time, and so does the work. As a PsyD-level psychologist, I bring advanced clinical training to every session.
Large Platforms (BetterHelp, etc.)
Convenient, but often function as matching services. You may switch providers. Depth of care is more limited. Less consistent relationship.
Why a Licensed Psychologist?
Advanced training in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment, especially useful if you want more than surface-level coping strategies.
For Snowbirds and Part-Year Residents
I hold a Florida license, and through PSYPACT I'm also authorized in 45+ states. If you split the year between Florida and another state, we can usually keep working together wherever you are.
What therapy with me looks like
- A warm, nonjudgmental space where you don't have to explain yourself.
- Practical tools for managing anxiety, stress, and symptoms day-to-day.
- Deeper insight into your patterns, triggers, and relationships.
- Clear goals and a process tailored to your specific needs.
- A focus on meaningful, lasting change, not just coping.
- Telehealth sessions from home, with no I-4 traffic or waiting room.
Before you book
Where in Florida do you see clients?
Anywhere in the state. Sessions are entirely online over secure, HIPAA-compliant video, so Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Pensacola, Naples, the Keys, or a small town in between all work, as long as you're in Florida at the time of the session.
How does the time difference work?
I'm based in California, three hours behind most of Florida and two hours behind the western Panhandle. We'll pick a regular time that works in your time zone during your free consultation.
Do you take insurance in Florida?
Not yet. I'm working on joining insurance networks in Florida. For now, sessions are self-pay at $225, and I can provide a superbill if your plan reimburses out-of-network care.
What if a hurricane disrupts our sessions?
Storms happen. If you lose power or need to evacuate, let me know when you can and we'll reschedule. If you've evacuated to another state, we can often still meet by video, since I'm also authorized through PSYPACT in most of the country.
Is online therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes. The same evidence-based approaches apply over secure video as they would in an office, and for many people it's the most practical way to see a psychologist regularly.
Do you work with teens as well as adults?
Yes, I work with adults and teens ages 14 and up across Florida.
